Back Up Policy - Do you provide backups?

You are responsible for creating and maintaining backups of the data in your account.

Shared Hosting

We run weekly backups on all shared hosting accounts and we can only restore from these backups. We highly recommend that you make your own off site backups regularly.

You should NOT rely on our backups to keep your content safe. Our weekly backups are made every Sunday and only the last backup is available for restore. However, we make no guarantees about our weekly backups. 

A $15 fee is applicable to restore files from our backup.


Dedicated Server

We DO NOT backup your dedicated server.

Add-on service for weekly backups of your dedicated server is available for a flat fee of $25/mo. You may also order a backup server while ordering a dedicated server.


PLEASE NOTE: Backup Policy for Suspended Accounts

When an account is suspended, its data is not included in the new weekly backup. Backups older than a week are permanently deleted every time we run a new weekly backup. Therefore, if your account is suspended we will not have a backup of your account.

Again, we highly recommended that you maintain your own backup.

How can I restore my own back up?

A partial backup can be restored in cPanel. Go to Home > Files > Backup Wizard and click on “Restore”.

Contact Certified Hosting support to restore a full backup. We will restore your full backup for free.
