There are a couple of different ways you can upgrade your WordPress installation.
We HIGHLY recommend that you keep your WordPress updated to the most current version.

Your first step is to follow WordPress' instructions to upgrade your installation.

If you installed WordPress through cPanel using Softaculcous

   1.  Login to your cPanel (yourdomain.com/cpanel)
   2.  Go the "Software" section and locate the "Softaculous" icon.
   3.  Located the "Blogs" section and then "WordPress"
   4.  Select the domain you wish to upgrade and then hit "Upgrade"

If you installed WordPress manually, or if the Softaculous upgrade method doesn't work, try this:

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin control panel.
  2. Click Dashboard.
  3. Click Updates.
  4. Click Update now. If the Update Now button is there, there are no updates for your WordPress installation.

Additionally, you can try a manual upgrade. Please see the WordPress Codex for the latest instructions.
